Atlantis recently launched some new products made from polylane.
For those who don't know, Atlantis is a brand of caps and is the brand most used (and preferred) by our customers for everything involving personalised caps and embroidered hats.
This may be unknown to many people, but caps (and many hats) are not made from cotton. In fact, most of these products are made from acrylic or polyester, two fibres that we know are not natural, let alone environmentally friendly.
Although there are more and more articles made from recycled polyester, we still prefer not to use it. Better than recycling something is using it at all.

This is where polylane comes in.
In an attempt to increase the sustainability of its business and the product it sells, Atlantis has teamed up with The Movement, the company that created this new yarn, thus bringing - in a sustainable and economical way - a new type of yarn to the promotional industry.

What are the advantages of polylane compared to acrylic?
Providing some interesting figures, Polylana uses 76 per cent less energy, 85 per cent less water, creates 76 per cent less waste and releases 19 per cent less CO2 into the atmosphere.

Compared to current solutions, this fibre is actually more environmentally friendly.

Several well-known brands already use this fibre, such as Zara, H&M, New Balance, New Era and many others.
