A Little History About the "Saco"
Despite all their simplicity, sacks and/or bags were fundamental to the development of human civilisation, as they allowed loose materials such as grain or fruit to be collected and transported, while at the same time allowing many more items to be carried than could ever be done by hand.
"Bags" have been around for hundreds of years and have been used indiscriminately by both men and women, dating back to Ancient Egypt, with many hieroglyphs depicting men with bags tied around their waists.

There are also mentions of them in the Bible, as in the case of Judas Iscariot, who "carried" one religiously to transport his personal items.
In the 14th century, motivated by constant robberies by thieves and pickpockets, many people began to use bags and/or sacks with drawstrings to carry their money, which were attached to "belts" by means of a long cord attached to the waist.

Women also used more ornate drawstring bags, usually called hamondeys or tasques, which reflected their social status. The "bags" of the 14th century evolved in terms of use to become very common wedding gifts, embroidered with representations of love stories and/or songs.

In the modern world, bags and/or purses are ubiquitous in our daily lives in a wide variety of forms, whether as fabric or leather briefcases, balls or rucksacks, made from disposable materials such as paper or plastic and used for shopping and transporting countless items.

The bag is an extremely economical option compared to other items, and we could be talking about final prices in the region of 1.5€ to 2€ depending on the number of quantities ordered.
We're talking about an item that is in immense demand and is often used for congresses, events and workshops, as well as in the height of summer, which is very tourist- and leisure-orientated.

In terms of printing techniques for bag printing itself, we work with Screen Printing, Direct Printing (which works wonderfully, even with very colourful images) and Flex Printing, which in this particular case we advise against. Why?
Because in the case of cloth bags we're talking about rather thin items (between 120 and 140 grams), which certainly won't translate into a quality product if you put a piece of plastic on top of it!
