NEW: T-shirt printing with velour

The year is off to a great start with new products and services. Following on from the live video we did on Facebook in January, we are now presenting the first of a wide selection of new products and services that we will be announcing throughout this year.

.

We've always liked special effects and doing different jobs for our community. Offering added value in everything we sell is in our blood, and today we are delighted to announce that we are making velour appliqués for clothes.

.

Technically, this decoration is called a flock and allows you to apply images and text with an extremely soft touch, as if it were velvet. No matter how many photos and videos we take of this technique, there's no better experience than touch to really demonstrate how fantastic flock printing is.

.

We recommend applying it to heavyweight T-shirts and sweatshirts in particular. It's important that the whole item is of high quality so that the decoration can stand out and "shine" as the star of the show.

.

When to use

Flock - velvet printing - is perfect for text or images in a single colour and with a large area. Contrary to what we advise for traditional flex, its differentiation lies exactly in the touch, so it's important to use large, fat letters so that there is a surface on which you can touch and feel the application.

We've used the image above as an example, with straight, full letters so that the application can not only be felt but also seen. This is a decoration that is visibly different and that is extremely important.

.

When not to use

The flock is not printable, so it should be used for monochrome work (one colour only). Due to its thickness and difficulty of handling during cutting and application, it should also not be used on small images or those containing a lot of detail, at the risk of losing its added value or even the application losing some of that detail. A large area with little detail is ideal for achieving the best visual results and the velvet touch.

What colours are available?

The great thing about flock is that it is available in 15 different colours, all with the same velvety feel and high quality.

We're fans of black flock, but any of the 15 colours below will give you the same visual effect, giving you a huge selection and increasing your real possibilities for high-quality T-shirt and sweatshirt printing.

This item is highly resistant to washing and remains soft for a long time.

We recommend completely normal handling and washing with washes at 40º and ironing the garment inside out. It requires no special care, just like all the other printing techniques we use.
