Anyone who has never seen MEO or NOS technicians on the street should raise their hand. No-one? I thought so! And how did you recognise them?
If you've never been to lunch in a restaurant or shopping centre in the middle of the week and seen a company employee wearing a personalised T-shirt, polo shirt or sweatshirt, raise your hand. Yeah, I didn't think so either.
So why do all companies (especially those with people on the street) wear some kind of uniform?
Simple, because it works as a marketing platform. It's the same reason we see so many fleet cars personalised with the services the company provides.
.
Studies show that using personalised clothing is one of the best forms of marketing we can do, especially in economic terms.
With uniforms, you can spend 3 or 4 euros on a t-shirt for an employee and ensure that thousands of people over the course of days/weeks/months can see your name on the street.
Personally, it's not the first time I've come into contact with a company through the clothes I see its employees wearing, and I'm certainly not alone. Just this week it happened to me with a gas company.
.
But is it only for companies that have employees on the street that it makes sense to have personalised uniforms? No. I know of very few large companies where the employees working in production aren't in full uniform. It's a way for people to be standardised within the company, not to get their own clothes dirty (if the job requires it) or even to demonstrate greater professionalism if they're face-to-face with a client.
Cafés, restaurants, factories, etc. all use personalised uniforms very often.

We make a lot of the same clothes. We can print T-shirts or embroider T-shirts with your company logo and help you get the boost you need for your business to thrive.
