Our online shop for plain t-shirts is no longer news to anyone. There's even a direct link to this page at the top. For several years now, we have been selling plain textiles - without decorations - to artists and people who paint clothes as a hobby or profession. Over the years we've tried to make our offer as complete as possible so that you don't miss anything.
In the process of doing so, we felt that we ended up adding too many similar products, confusing our customers (after all, who needs more than 100 models of men's T-shirts?). In recent months we have been working on various options to simplify our offer a little more, presenting fewer articles per category and - naturally - increasing the categories available. With this process we are dividing up a little more and better segmenting the articles available.
This year alone (until March) we have already added almost 200 new garments, which is a 20 per cent increase on 2017. We have 10 new promotional, fashion and workwear brands (with special emphasis on Roly e Result for high-visibility items and Bella+Canvas for fashion clothing).
Some of the changes made were to remove several niche articles from the base categories. So today we have a specific category for sublimation garments, another for jackets and waterproofs. Together, we have separated more than 50 articles from the previous categories, simplifying our offer. In women's items we went even further and created a category for dresses and longsleeves, with new segmentation options on the table.
Another change we made was to improve the description of the article names to something more "natural" and easier to read. We've also included "Twin" icons for textiles with equivalent men's and women's patterns. It's always nice to know that Sol's Regent T-shirt has a similar version for women, right?
Some of our other icons include the organic or fair trade clothing label, among other useful labels.
Despite this, we still have too many categories, and we're looking into new filter options to simplify the search.
We already have size and colour filters, making it easier for you to search for articles, but we want to take it further by creating new filters for weight, composition and more. We know it's a job that will take time, but we believe that this year we'll be able to have a more balanced shop where you'll have more features.
The next logical step will be to update the shop's design. Although we make small changes every week, we haven't had a new design in nearly six years. It is beginning to show its age and its functionalities are becoming too limited for the way the internet has evolved in recent years.
Until then, we hope you'll continue to work with us. Thank you for your confidence!
