If it was difficult to find eco-responsible fabrics a few years ago, today we have plenty of choice on the market.<\/p>\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this article, we'll get to know some of these products:<\/p>\n\n<!--more-->\n\n<p><\/p><div>.<\/div>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Linen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Growing flax requires no irrigation: the flax plant grows naturally thanks to the warmth of the sun and rainwater. Consuming less water, it only needs a little fertiliser and pesticide.<\/p>\n\n<p>Flax is a fully biodegradable vegetable fibre. Therefore, products made from the flax plant are also biodegradable.<\/p>\n\n<p>Linen fibre is the most solid of the natural fibres, so it remains very light and extremely soft to the touch. The fibres are very robust, especially because of their length.<\/p>\n\n<p>Linen garments are therefore very resistant and durable.<\/p>\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Organic cotton<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The materials, especially the cotton used in many of the clothes we sell, come from organic production.<\/p>\n\n<p>They are ecologically cultivated in accordance with the GOTS and OCS standards.<\/p>\n\n<p>In order not to damage the ecosystems around the production fields or harm the biodiversity of animal species, organic cotton is grown without GMOs.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since the quality of organic cotton is essential, it's important for brands to approach the most stringent labels, which define high-level environmental criteria throughout the supply chain for organic textiles and also demand that social criteria be respected.<\/p>\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Modal fabric<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>This fibre is obtained by spinning cellulose fibres from wood, most commonly beech wood. Cellulose is an organic substance that makes up cell walls. From these fibres, modal fabric is created through spinning.<\/p>\n\n<p>These fibres are not synthetic, but artificial fibres of plant origin. Through this procedure and this composition, we obtain a material very similar to viscose.<\/p>\n\n<p>Smoother, more resistant and softer than viscose, modal fabric is a much-loved material in the production of ecologically responsible textiles. Thanks to its reduced environmental impact, it is one of the most ethical and ecological materials.<\/p>\n\n<p>Modal fabric has many qualities that make it a very soft and robust fabric for designing comfortable and resistant garments.<\/p>\n\n<p>The elastic and stable properties of modal fabric allow for good heat resistance.<\/p>\n\n<p>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lyocell<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Lyocell, also known as the Tencel brand, is an ecological vegetable fibre created from the wood pulp of eucalyptus, bamboo or hardwood trees, making it an ecological artificial fibre with 100% cellulose. Lyocell is also an excellent alternative to viscose, as it is more environmentally friendly.<\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore, lyocell is an ecological material made from wood pulp and a non-toxic solvent. Much appreciated in the textile sector for its breathable and resistant properties, lyocell is comparable to silk and can sometimes be called vegetable silk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.maudlinclothing.com\/impressao-textil\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.maudlinclothing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/blog-personalizacao-main.jpeg\" alt=\"estampagem t\u00eaxtil\" \/><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Organic fabrics go far beyond organic cotton.
