Being ecologically sustainable is more than just putting some photovoltaic panels on the roof (we're on our way to 80 panels, by the way) and saying \"DONE!\"<\/p>\n\n

Being sustainable means raising awareness so that the entire upstream production chain is also sustainable and ensuring that every detail is taken into account.<\/p>\n\n

And that's what we've been focusing on in recent years.<\/p>\n\n

Fortunately, in recent years there has been good work from some of our suppliers, which has allowed us to offer more sustainable clothing as well. We've moved away from others because we realise they go against our philosophy.<\/p>\n\n

We know that we are just a small garment in the machinery that takes the clothes to the end customer. Before us is an entire production chain over which we have little - if any - control. However, we can nag and insist that they take as much care as we do.<\/p>\n\n

. <\/p>\n\n

TH Clothes<\/a>, one of our favourite brands, recently reduced its use of plastic by up to 90% by no longer individually packaging all of its shirts. This reduces plastic production where it is most important that it is reduced, in Asia.<\/p>\n\n

We can't guarantee that our customers will take care of the environment, but we can guarantee that we position ourselves and appeal to the kind of customer who will. And that's what we've been doing, working more and more with customers who are looking for sustainable production methods (hello!, direct printing<\/a>) and wearing more sustainable clothing (hey!, Native Spirit<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

One of the most recent steps we've taken is to start offering embroidery<\/a> using recycled thread. <\/p>\n\n

<\/p>\n\n

For the first time there is a recycled embroidery<\/a> thread on the market. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

It's a world premiere, but it's also something we've been looking for for some time. As they are made of polyester, we are clearly talking about something made of plastic, which is bad for the environment. For each reel we are talking about a few tens of grams, which at the end of the production day turn into hundreds and many kilos of polyester every year. <\/p>\n\n

.<\/p>\n\n

With this new offer, we can now guarantee that your embroidery is a little more environmentally friendly. If you use an organic or even recycled garment, with embroidery made from recycled threads, knowing that 100 per cent of our electricity comes from renewable sources (some of it produced locally by us), there is little left that is not ecological in your production.<\/p>\n\n
